Raavanan Review: Educated Rama

Here comes the 1st raavanan review…. i think no one wud done this, and im the first to write the review.

Raavanan, Not exactly the real ramayana… this is different abit, some brain type and hi-tech… of coz nowdays movie ryt.

Some-more the director is Mani Ratnam sir. You can see his hard work to make this film from the visual. (Very Nice).

A.R. Rahman’s music is awesome after watch the movie. Before i watch the movie, i only like the usure poghuthey song. now kodu potta and kadda x2 adikuthe kuthe song as well.

Vikram, ashwariya rai, Pritivi Raj, Prabhu, and karthik is very good. especially vikram and ash.

When you watch, you cannot judge the next scene. u will watch it… even sum dun have time to go smoke. bcoz the song is come along with the story, except kalvarey song.

Oh ya. when talk about song, usure poguthey is like flat. seriously… i wish the song pictured in better way. emm…

this is from behindwoods.com

A major drawback is the lack of ‘Tamil’ feel in the film and its music; it more appears for the audience north of Vindhyas in many places. What Mani loses out is the pace over the later part of the first half; he gains it back with a major twist in the climax. Although you have a few questions about the incidents leading to the finale, those are done away with – thanks to the elegiac climax.

Verdict: Watch Raavanan, it’s visually poetic!

From Indiaglitz,

Well mixed reviews about a movie always is a bad sign. It seems that the worse side of the coin is what the people are looking at. Positives include the music by A R Rahman and the cinematography of Santosh Sivan and performances of lead actors Vikram and Aishwarya. The audience feels the movie has a confusing screenplay. A few other users who have seen the movie and have sent their comments suggest that the first half was a big let down and only a few scenes were worth talking about rather than the movie as a whole.

see hws urs guys….

FIFA WORLD CUP 2010

These are the  Group of the World Cup 2010. One of them going to Rock South Africa in a few days time. Guess who would be the champion?

Besides that,  FIFA World Cup live action for blind and visually impaired football fans.

Blind and visually impaired fans will be able to enjoy a special live-match experience at the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa. Six stadiums will each have 15 seats equipped with headphones, and trained commentators will report live on the action happening down on the pitch. In addition, each of these six stadiums will have 15 seats that will be allocated to their sighted guides who will accompany them, while specially trained volunteers will provide assistance within the stadiums. This is a premier in South Africa’s sporting landscape.

The initiative, launched by the Swiss National Association for the Blind (SNAB) and the South African National Council for the Blind (SANCB) and financially supported by FIFA, is aimed at making the tournament accessible to all. FIFA Partner Sony is providing the necessary transmitters that will allow people to receive match-day commentary in the stadiums free of charge. The SANCB is ensuring that the tickets are fairly allocated and only a very limited number of tickets are still available for 19 matches via .www.sancb.org.za.

“Football is a universal sport and it must be accessible to everyone. We are therefore delighted to be able to make this unique live experience in the stadium also accessible to visually impaired and blind people. This project is another launching pad for South African sports and will create a legacy with services and facilities at football grounds for visually impaired and blind South Africans,” said FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter.

The Institute of Advancement of Journalism was responsible for sourcing, training and coordinating the audio descriptors, while the Academy of Sound Engineering students will perform the technical audio functions that will be necessary to ensure that the audio descriptions are correctly transmitted to the visually impaired fans at the stadiums.

This is a Huge CSR isn’t?? Well done FIFA.

Simbu and Madhavan Teams Up

The success of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa has bagged Silambarasan a project with Lingusamy. The movie will be made in Tamil and Telugu, revealed the director recently. And in the Telugu version it will be Mahesh Babu playing Silambarasan’s role.

There is yet another weighty character, which is the brother of the hero, and the director had been scouting for a suitable face to cast in it. Finally, Madhavan seemed to have bagged the offer. Sources say that the role is very important to the film and hence Lingusamy wanted someone as popular as Maddy.

It is said that Silambarasan will work on Poda Podi along with this film.
